Map Objects are the "things" in the map that can be interacted with and be given specific attributes. To edit a map object, you can either find the object in the list, or select an object in the map and click "Edit selected object"
Name and Description
Enter the name and description of the object. This will be used in search results, and shown in the Entity Info (see below for entity menu).
To change position, click on the 'Position' entry and click & drag the blue, red and green arrows, like so. See this page for help with positioning.
If you like to reset the position, click on the "Reset X/Y/Z" buttons.
To change rotation, click on the 'Rotation' entry and click & drag the blue, red and green circles, like so: (gif).
If you like to reset the rotation, click on the "Reset X/Y/Z" buttons.
To change scale, click on the 'Scale' entry and click & drag the blue, red and green boxes, like so: (gif).
If you like to reset the scale, click on the "Reset X/Y/Z" buttons.
Disable this to make the object invisible in the live view
Show Entity Info when clicked
If enabled, displays the Entity Info when the object is clicked. Note: In order for the entity menu to show, the 'Show Entity Infos' under 'Live View Settings' must be enabled, and the object must either have a Name, Description or both, for the current language in the live view.
Use this to change the color of the object.
Show animation when clicked
Use this to play an animation when the object has been clicked.
How to remove a Map Object
It's only possible to remove objects from the map by editing the 3D-map file. Please contact us if you'd like to remove objects from your map, otherwise you can mark it as invisible.
